The developers of the games on the Epic Games website are required to remove all outgoing links, branding, and advertisements (e.g., splash screens, social links, and app store links) from their games. If developers collect personal data for their own purposes, Epic Games is not responsible for this processing – the developer alone decides what personal data is processed and for what purpose.

However, Epic Games believes it’s important that your data is safe when you play a game, so they’ve taken two measures. First, they’ve included contractual safeguards with the developers. Developers can only include cookies and similar technologies if no consent is required under applicable law. For analytic cookies, use is only allowed if it aligns with applicable law and has a minimal privacy impact.

Second, Epic Games has prepared a list of the cookies used by their game developers, categorized by game, to inform you on behalf of the developers.
