Forge of Empires is undoubtedly one of the most successful browser strategy game titles available and has been for many years. To exchange goods with your neighbors gives you an advantage – it allows you to research different technologies quicker. Trading ultimately means you can move into new ages at a faster rate. It takes time, and your resources are limited, so make your choices wisely to maximize your tech tree.

Technology

Researching new technology allows you to build your city and evolve. You must use forge points to purchase these upgrades like the wheel, smithery, and teaching. The final aspect of this building game is creating your army. Train different units like spearmen and cavalry and use them to conquer territories and seize control.

Battle System

The battle system itself is impressive as you can choose which units to fight with, and you must move them across the battlefield. Make use of terrain cover for additional protection. As your army becomes firm, you can attack provinces and their rewards. Control of the territories is essential as it gives you a resource boost and can help further your empire.
