This means you need to think a few steps ahead before acting fast.

As you advance in levels, the task becomes more complicated, and you need to discern how best to beat the clock. There are over a hundred levels in the game, which are becoming increasingly more complex. No need to worry; the levels may get more complex over time, but you also accumulate more points, which you can use to buy help such as extra bolt unscrews.

Beat the clock

Each level has a countdown timer, and when it runs down, you will lose the progress made on that level, but you will be able to start the level over, so use what you’ve learned and don’t get trapped in the same time constraints. There is a stopwatch at the bottom of the screen that you can use to freeze time. This will be useful when you have a few strategic moves left but not enough time to finish the level.

Tips

You can unlock bolt holes by clicking on one of the advertisement bolts. You’ll have to watch a quick ad to get a free hole. It’s worth it if you are in a jam. Another alternative is the bonus screwdriver at the bottom of the screen. The more points you gain, the more bonus bolt removals you will get. Use them sparingly because you’ll need them further down the line.

Re-fill some holes with bolts. Moving bolts around to different empty holes is part of the strategy.

Find which bolts can be removed that won’t cover any open holes.

When you lift a bolt and decide where to put it, panels may move so don’t hesitate too much.
